Wholesale Terms and Conditions

By placing an order with Lark Australia Pty. Ltd.  you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Opening Order Minimum

Lark’s minimum opening order is $300 + GST + freight. The first time you place an order with us, you'll need to meet this minimum.

Online Ordering

Lark only accepts orders through our wholesale web ordering system. The website is linked to our warehouse inventory, so you can see what's in stock and order these products for immediate delivery. We do not record backorders. If a product you wish to order is not in stock, you can add it to your wishlist and also click on the page to receive an email notification when it arrives. Occasionally we may run out of products after you have paid for them. In these instances we will provide you with a credit note (for amounts under $250) or a refund (for amounts over $250).

Trade Fair Orders

When you order at a trade fair, we will put the requested items into your shopping basket and/or wish list. Please log into your account regularly to see what's in stock and place your order for available goods. Your goods are not allocated until you go through checkout.

Payment

Payment is by credit card only. We do not accept bank deposits or cheque payments. 

Delivery Times

The majority of orders are shipped within 1-5 working days of payment. During peak periods and post-trade fairs, please allow 3 weeks for delivery. We ship by Australia Post (Registered).

Flat Rate Shipping in Australia

Orders up to $1500 ship for the following flat-rate fees, regardless of volume:

VIC  $28
NSW/ACT/SA/TAS  $34
QLD  $52
WA/NT  $62 

Registered Post is a further $4. We recommend this, as we cannot track unregistered parcels.

GST is not included.

When your order is over $1500 your freight component will be calculated later, based on packed weight, to give you an accurate Australia Post costing. We cannot cancel or change orders once you have paid for them.

New Zealand Orders

Freight is calculated on NZ orders after the order is placed, and is to be paid separately. We ship by Australia post only, and cannot accept courier pickup. Orders are firm once placed, and cannot be cancelled on the basis of freight charges, which are at cost price.

Exclusivity

We do not generally offer exclusivity on our wholesale products.

If you are regularly ordering a particular product range for your store, you are welcome to discuss this with us. Our minimum order expectation for an exclusive product or range would generally be around $500 every 8-12 weeks .

If we have agreed exclusivity for a range and you don’t place a re-order for this range within 5 months, exclusivity will no longer apply.

Because Lark represents a number of ranges, there may be more than one stockist in an area.

Prices

Prices shown on our website are exclusive of GST. We reserve the right to adjust prices and specifications without notice except when an order has been fully paid for. 

Break prices are available by item for larger purchases.

Sales Outlets

You are only authorized to sell through the retail outlet(s) you have specified in your application to Lark. Permission must be sought to sell the goods at other outlets including any new shops or online stores. Lark does not allow its products to be sold at online auction sites or through party plan or markets without written permission.

Using Lark images and text

Please do not copy product descriptions or other text from our website, other than product attributes, dimensions and safety information. Copyright on all text, images and designs remains with Lark Australia Pty. Ltd. (the owner of this website) and its associated companies. 

Low-res (web) images:
Stockists are invited to use the deep-etched (white background) product images found on the Lark trade website at www.larkaustralia.com.au, for products that are currently stocked or on order. These may be used on approved websites or customer newsletters. Lifestyle images are NOT for stockist use, unless written approval has been gained, due to copyright issues. We cannot provide images by disk or email - they must be downloaded by you from our trade website. We cannot offer technical assistance with downloading images, please consult your IT adviser.

High-res (print) images:
We are currently unable to provide high resolution images to stockists due to time constraints, however we are working on a facility that will allow customers to download high-res images from our trade website. In the meantime we would encourage customers to use their own photographs for media call-outs, or send samples.

Returns

Any problems must be reported in writing or by email within 5 days of receipt. Please do not return goods unless we ask you to.
